Land Use Tools Series

An educational program through the Ohio State University Extension
 
To serve the needs of newly elected or appointed officials and seasoned land use decision makers, a basic Land Use Tools series is offered and includes topics such as:
Community Planning Organizations
Comprehensive Planning
Zoning
Subdivision Regulations

Other courses may be added to this basic framework to address particular local issues.  Each of the four courses is about two hours in length, although the length and material can be tailored according to your local needs.

The courses discuss basic concepts behind these tools, how to initiate them, and/or how to improve/update them to make them more responsive to your community.  All audiences are welcomed.  If you would like more information on this basic Land Use Tools series, please contact John Conglose conglose.1@osu.edu at 330-263-3799
